Unless you’ve known me for quite some time, you may not know that I used to film YouTube makeup tutorials (back when that was just becoming a fad) and this is my first time filming this style of video since maybe junior year of high school!  Let me tell you, it felt so weirdly natural getting back in front of the camera again, except instead of using the bulky camera that I did in high school, I did Snapchat 10-second clips and pieced them together. I’ll be the first to admit, it’s terribly challenging for me to take a day off.  I’m a little bit of a workaholic, especially when it comes to my blog.  I spend so much time putting together outfits, planning photoshoots, editing photos, writing posts, connecting with brands, and networking, that sometimes I forget that it’s really healthy to just take a day to rest.  My boyfriend often gets on my case, especially when I visit him, because I tend to over-work myself even while I’m on vacation, and that’s no bueno.  I have to remind myself to just put down my phone, turn on some throwback music (here’s looking at you, *NSYNC), and chill for a day.  I’ve put together some of my favorite things to do on my pampering days off, so if you’re a workaholic like me, hopefully this will help inspire you to rest.
