If I’m completely honest, I’ve actually always enjoyed working out.  When I was younger, my mom would get me new yoga mats and sneakers for my birthday.  Sadly, as I got older, the enjoyment began to fade, and the gym became something I dreaded more than anything.  I hated how public it was and how anyone could see my level of commitment or experience.  Eventually I dropped my gym membership, and for the past few years I’ve relied solely on yoga workouts at home or mini dance parties in my bedroom to keep me “fit.”  However, there’s a new player in town: barre classes.  I had been hearing amazing things about these classes for the past year or so and while I was truly tempted to try one, I didn’t want to go alone and I was afraid of it being too difficult for someone who wasn’t used to working out.  Then… View Post
